Scrying
The practice of looking into suitable medium in the hope of detecting significant meanings or visions.
Crystal Ball
A crystal ball can be clear quartz, rose quartz, or any smooth spherical stone that appeals to your subconscious. Used as a scrying tool.
Numerology
The art of using numbers to give information about a person and their life.
Palm Reading
A way of gathering information about a person and their life by reading the lines on the palm of the hand.
Tea Leaf Reading
This is done by reading the formation of the leaves after someone has finished drinking a cup of tea.
Runes
Runes are symbols generally engraved or painted on clay, stones, or wood. They are used similarly to Tarot, to bring the subconscious to the conscious world. Answer certain types of questions. They don’t tell the future exactly however it can give an idea of a potential outcome if certain action is taken.
Scrying Bowl
Usually a dark colored glass bowl filled with liquid, typically water, and sometimes crystals. The reflective surface is said to help you see in the subconscious mind.
Scrying Mirror
A scrying mirror can be made. It is usually a shiny, black, smooth, flat surface that is used for scrying. Commonly made from Obsidian.
Tarot Cards
The most commonly known tool for divination is the Tarot. It is a set of cards that are used to help the subconscious meet the conscious world. It has several suits and each deck is different in some way.
Pendulums
Most are often used as tools for spiritual healing and inner growth. Defined as objects attached at the end of a string or metal chain, when suspended from a stationary position, a pendulum will swing back and forth, side to side, or in a circular motion. Typically made from crystals or stones.
There are many methods of Divination, and this list isn’t all inclusive. It will, however, give you an idea of what is often and commonly used. Intuition and learned skill are often used together to gain useful and insightful information.
